Mission Accomplished — Cardinal Messenger Delivers Tickets

Lisa and Bob traveled to downtown Los Angeles today to volunteer at Stanford’s hospitality desk at the J.W. Marriott hotel, where many Stanford fans from out of town are staying during The Rose Bowl festivities.  I asked Lisa to deliver Roland Hemming’s pair of Rose Bowl tickets while she was there.

I was pleasantly surprised when reporter Guy McCarthy of Patch online news organization called to speak with Lisa and me regarding my Rose Bowl ticket contest.  Here’s his article:

Now I can rest easy , knowing Roland has been properly rewarded for doing so much to inspire me.  Enjoy the game at The Rose Bowl, youngsters.  I’ll be taking it all in from my easy chair.  Go Cardinal!
